As a Whole Health Holistic Nurse and Functional Wellness Coach, my mission is to help people who are overwhelmed restore calm, balance, and optimal health through a personalized, holistic approach.
By integrating the five aspects of Whole Health: Physical, Emotional, Nutritional, Environmental, and Spiritual, I guide you to uncover the root causes of your overwhelm and stress (it may not be what you think it is) and the health challenges that may be coming from it. Through education, personalized nutrition, lifestyle adjustments, and stress resilience strategies, I will help you reclaim control over your health, and your life.

I spent 16 years as an Intensive Care Registered Nurse, while earning my Black Belt and Instructor Certifications in several styles of Martial Arts. After losing my husband of 31 years and experiencing the intense grief that comes with that, while at the same time going through menopause, I learned first hand how insanely difficult it is to stay healthy during times of stress not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as well.
Today, I work as a Whole Health Educator™, Holistic Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach, and I still teach Martial Arts! My focus it to work with adults who feel they have lost control over their lives and their health due to stress and overwhelm navigate their way through it using the 5 aspects of Whole Health:

I also speak to smaller groups and larger audiences about Stress Resilience to help people gain a true understanding about what happens to the body during stress, and how we can overcome the effects and thrive.

I work extensively with people who are dealing with high level of Stress, Anxiety, Insomnia, Digestive concerns, Brain Fog, Hyperthyroidism, Poor Athletic Performance, Nutrition and lifestyle adjustments during times of intense emotional life changes such as grief and loss, a sudden health diagnosis, and menopause.

I approach the physical body by recognizing that physical health is deeply connected to emotional, mental, nutritional, spiritual, and environmental well-being. Instead of just treating symptoms, we work together to support the body’s natural ability to heal by addressing the root cause of physical imbalance.
I work with Mental and emotional well-being by acknowledging that thoughts, emotions, stress, mindset, and energy directly influence a person’s health. I teach people how to calm their nervous system, process emotions in a healthy way, and build daily habits that nurture calm, clarity, and resilience—instead of just coping with or suppressing feelings.
I help with nutrition and relationship with food by addressing more than just "what to eat." It looks at how stress, mindset, inflammation, digestion, emotions, and lifestyle patterns affect our health. The goal is to help the body use food as fuel and medicine, not just calories. I work to improve nutrition by helping people understand their body's needs, reduce inflammation, heal the gut, and build a healthy mindset around food to create nourishing habits that support long-term wellness.
Environmental wellness is a vital part of a person’s overall health. Our surroundings—home, work, community, energy, toxins, relationships, and even the atmosphere we live in—directly affect our physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I will help you to become more aware of these influences, and ways to clean your environment, reduce toxic exposure, create peaceful spaces, reconnect with nature, and surround yourself with supportive energy.
Health is not just physical and emotional. Spiritual well-being is also deeply connected to a person's sense of purpose, inner peace, connection, and meaning in life. Spiritual wellness does not always refer to religion. It can simply mean feeling grounded, supported, aligned with their values and connected to something greater than oneself. healing happens deeply when the spirit feels supported.

I played football and wrestled in high school. Graduated at 208 lbs. feeling unstoppable. Then life happened and one day I stepped on the scale, and it read 404 lbs.! At that point, I hit rock bottom. I managed to force myself to get back on track and I dropped 210 lbs. Then I crashed hard, and the ALL the weight came roaring back because every time I felt stress, anger, or anxiety I ran straight to food. Food was how I numbed everything.
